ABOUT
Thistle & Bug was founded in 2019, to meet a gap in the rural market for level headed, low pressure marketing and digital advice to companies.
​
Initially, primarily working with rural companies, T&B also found a foothold in reviewing SEO's for larger London based companies as well as introducing smaller companies to the importance of having a digital footprint.
​
2023 saw Annabel working as a Social Media and Communications Manager, primarily to quality check the service she was providing clients - in the horse racing industry. A passion and hobby of hers still today!

After nearly 10 years working in London with some of the greatest names in British Luxury, Annabel brings with her a wealth of experience gleaned from some incredible marketeers.

Born in London but bought up in Dorset, Annabel can understand and navigate the needs of each and every company that comes to her without compromising on quality, always going over and above for her clients, achieving targetted success!
TINA THORNTON
DIRECTOR
With almost a decade in various PR, management and marketing roles spanning Rural Broadband Provision, Equestrian Brands, Charitable Youth Organisations, Clothing Brands and Multinational Companies, Tina has a strong breadth of experience across the industry.
Tina was born in Glasgow where she lived and worked until moving down to the South West of England to increase her professional opportunities. This is where she met Annabel, founder of Thistle & Bug. The pair relocated in quick succession to the idyllic Cotswold Countryside, where Thistle & Bug is now based.
